Home Bread Baking

In‌ ‌this‌ ‌small-group,‌ ‌hands-on‌ ‌class‌ ‌held‌ ‌in‌ ‌Forge’s ‌bakery,‌ ‌you’ll‌ ‌master‌ ‌techniques‌ ‌for‌ ‌home‌ ‌baking‌ ‌bread.‌ ‌From‌ ‌easy‌ ‌artisan‌ ‌loaves‌ ‌to‌ ‌tangy‌ ‌sourdough,‌ ‌we‌ ‌will‌ ‌bake‌ ‌three‌ ‌unique‌ ‌breads‌ ‌during‌ ‌our‌ ‌four‌ ‌hour‌ ‌session.‌ ‌You’ll‌ ‌learn‌ ‌to‌ ‌use,‌ ‌and‌ subsequently‌ ‌take‌ ‌home,‌ ‌the‌ ‌tools‌ ‌required‌ ‌to‌ ‌successfully‌ ‌bake‌ ‌bread‌ ‌on‌ ‌your‌ ‌own.‌ ‌
During‌ ‌our‌ ‌intermission,‌ ‌you‌ ‌may‌ ‌pop‌ ‌in‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌cafe‌ ‌for‌ ‌a‌ ‌meal‌ ‌on‌ ‌us,‌ ‌or‌ ‌stay‌ ‌for‌ ‌an‌ ‌optional‌ ‌intensive‌ ‌on‌ ‌sourdough‌ ‌baking.‌ ‌ ‌

Espresso Class

Come join Harrison Seiler at Forge Baking Company to sharpen your espresso making skills on our own La Marzocco espresso machine!

This class will teach you all the steps involved in preparing a delicious espresso based beverage. We’ll learn how to pull a shot of espresso, steam different types of milk and practice latte art. There will be guided tastings to help you become more acquainted with what espresso should taste like as well as tips to help you troubleshoot your brewing at home.

Whether you are an avid home barista or just a curious coffee drinker looking to learn something new, this class will have something to offer! No experience is necessary.

In Season Pizza and Beer Night

We are back at it on January 30, 2020! Join us for pizza, beer, and ice cream on Thursday, January 30th! Doors open at 6:30 pm but food will be served throughout the night until 9 pm.
The pizza is made from scratch with fresh ingredients sourced from Family Dinner made in our own deck ovens. The ice cream is made in-house in small batches while Idle Hands will be supplying us with the beer.

    Tickets include:

  • All you can eat pizza
  • 2 Beers from Idle Hands
  • Ice Cream from Forge Ice Cream Bar

Home Pastry Making Class

Come join head baker Meghan Lethem at Forge Baking Company to bring lamination baking to your home!

This hand-lamination course will guide students through the lamination process from making the dough and shaping the butter to baking off their own pastries. We’ll focus on making puff pastry as a base which we will use to create palmiers, Danish-style tarts, and more!

What this class includes:

  • Half dozen pastries
  • Forge Bowl Scraper
  • Forge Sandwich or Salad
